School’s Out for Samba

Shelve the text books, stow the lunchbox, pitch the #2 pencil nubs, and get ready for summer vacation! Dust off those summer whites and grab the SPF 30 as you are transported by the tropical sounds… at School’s out for Samba!

Springboard to Learning & Young Audiences gala, School’s out for Samba, promises to be the most successful event in Springboard & Young Audiences’ 49 year history. Some 300 supporters will enjoy a stylish evening of all things Samba on Friday, May 18, 2007 at the captivating Butterfly House in Faust Park. The lush outdoor setting is a true feast for the eyes.

The School’s out for Samba evening will begin at 7:00 p.m. with signature Brazilian cocktails, a short live auction, dinner, and samba dancing. Guests will have the opportunity to partake in samba lessons plus a few other surprises.

Tickets for Samba are $100 for Sambistas and $250 for The Brazilian Best.
